Program Detail: 1 Week Annapurna Base Camp Trek

Students will be provided with the right training to be ready for the 1-week trek. Through this process we try an blend down yoga along with trekking.

  • Day 1: Drive from Pokhara to Bikash Danda and a 3-hour trek to Ghandruk

The first day of the trek starts from Pokhara and not Kathmandu. You will take a ride from Pokhara up to Kyu Mi Danda and later to Birethati. Roads in the ride can be bumpy at times. After 3 hours of trek, you will be taken to Ghandruk from Pokhara. Right through the journey, the Modi River will accompany you.

  • Day 2: Trek from Ghandruk to Upper Sinuwa

The goal today is to reach Upper Sinuwa, and we start moving after the early morning breakfast. The day will be full of rugged treks up and down. You will be touching down at places like Kimrung Danda, Kimrung River, and even Chhomrong village. Chhomrong village is famous for the Gurung community.

  • Day 3: Trek to Deurali from Upper Sinuwa

Annapurna Sanctuary Area will be the primary focus for the day. We will be visiting places like Bamboo, Dovan, and the mountains will be in and around us. Marching towards our journey to Annapurna Base Camp, we reach Eden Valley today.

  • Day 4: Trek from Deurali to Annapurna Base Camp

The day finally arrives when we will be reaching Annapurna Base Camp. But first, it will be a journey to Machhapuchhre Base Camp. The distance between Machhapuchhre and Annapurna Base Camp is 730m, and we will be crossing that. A 6-hour tough trek will lead you to stunning views of Annapurna I.

  • Day 5: Trek from Annapurna Base Camp to Bamboo

As we reach the ultimate destination of Annapurna Base Camp, we will have to come back now. The return will be dedicated to Bamboo and later to Deurali. An 8-hour walk will take you to Bamboo at the end of the day.

  • Day 6: Trek from Bamboo to Jhinu Danda

As the days move ahead, we will be leaving the Annapurna Base Camp area behind. Today, through the areas of Khudlighar, we will be touching own to Sinuwa Danda. Uneven trails beautiful river will be accompanying us today. Lastly, we will be making back to Jhinu Danda following Chhomrong Khola.

  • Day 7: Trek to Samrung Khola and drive to Pokhara

Sadly, the day has arrived when we have to return. Today marks a short walk downhill crossing the suspension bridge to reach Samrung Khola. A local jeep will be present, which will take us to Pokhara. It will be a 4-hour ride.
