After the students complete the 200-hour yoga teacher training, they will be part of a 1-week Annapurna Base Camp trek, where they will be part of a serious trek to one of the toughest mountains in Nepal. Day 1: Drive from Pokhara to Bikash Danda and 3 3-hour trek to Ghandruk
The first day of the trek is all about the drive from Pokhara to Kyu Mi Danda and Birethati. With the roads being uneven, it will take almost 3 hours to reach Ghandruk from Pokhara. You will be passing through the Modi River and some beautiful views.
Day 2: Trek from Ghandruk to Upper Sinuwa
The second day of the trek will be about reaching Upper Sinuwa. After 7 hours of trek, you will cross places like Kimrung Danda, Kimrung River, and Chhomrong village, etc. You will also find the Gurung community along the way.
Day 3: Trek to Deurali from Upper Sinuwa
On the 3rd day, we will be reaching the Annapurna Sanctuary area. Places like Bamboo, Dovan, and the Himalayas will be in and around us, showered with beautiful paths. 7 hours of walking will take you to Eden Valley.
Day 4: Trek from Deurali to Annapurna Base Camp
Present at an altitude of 3900m, the trail goes up to Machhapuchhre Base Camp. We will be climbing up to 730m to reach the Annapurna Base Camp region. 6 hours of tough trekking will lead you to Annapurna Base Camp, where you will view mountains like Annapurna I.
Day 5: Trek from Annapurna Base Camp to Bamboo
Today, we will return to Bamboo from Annapurna Base Camp. You will need to walk carefully, even though the trail looks simple. Following the 8-hour walk alongside Deurali, you will reach Bamboo
Day 6: Trek from Bamboo to Jhinu Danda
Following the short, steep walk to KhudliGhar and later to the Sinuwa Danda, the day is full of ups and downs. You will be walking along the trails of Chomrong Khol, making finally to Jhinu Danda.
Day 7: Trek to Samrung Khola and drive to Pokhara
The last day of the walk is the short downhill crossing through the suspension bridge to reach Samrung Khola. At the banks of Samrung Khola, we will be catching local jeep services to reach Pokhara, which will take 4 hours.
