Itinerary
Day 1: Helicopter tour to the Everest Base Camp
The Everest base camp helicopter tour is divided into different phases. The first phase includes arriving at the airport at around 6 to 7 in the morning. Depending upon the weather conditions and visibility, it can be a bit earlier or late. Once you get the legal formalities sorted, you will be taken to the helicopter. The helicopter is spacious, safe, and comfortable.
The pilot and co-pilot will inform you about the mandatory protocol so be sure to listen carefully. When the signal hits green, we find ourselves soaring through the sky flying above Nagarkot and Jiri forests to arrive at Lukla, otherwise known as the “Gateway of the Everest region”.
