Meanwhile, the strength training includes running, stair climbing, and basic workouts. These steps help you to develop the stamina along with stability for longer days of trek. If you are thinking of building a solid foundation, consistency is the key.
Following the base fitness, we will push for the training-specific climb. This can be performed by adding uphill workouts, carrying loads, and also incorporating the strength sessions that stimulate the actual demands of mountaineering.
The start of the specific training could be hard. A major reason for that is that we aren’t trained to do it all of a sudden. But in the end, you would notice that such intense training has helped you to condition the body and also increase the intensity for a higher altitude climb.
As we have completed the two rounds of training, we have come to the final hurdle. Hereby, we will focus on outdoor training, which is critical too. All the trekkers will be practicing on the real trails and also climbs, which boosts their endurance and confidence at the same time.
As we practice on the real trails, it will be an opportunity for the climbers to test their gear and also adapt ot the natural terrains, which will be similar to their upcoming and new challenge. Most of the time, as we fail to find the exact condition, we practice in the closest scenario possible.
All in all, you will have to be able to practice for more than 60 days to get the muscle memory ready. Right now, it might look a lot, but it isn’t. There is much more to learn and appreciate.
The training will take place 5 days a week, and proper rest is also key to garnering the right balance. Workouts and practice are key, but rest and recovery also go hand in hand.
If we follow this injuries will be minimal. We suggest all readers start early, as it provides you more time to adjust and acclimate, which also prepares you physically.
It will make you mentally strong and ready for any safe adventure that you have been looking for. So what are you waiting for? Push for practice and perfection.
